2009 kubota 3030

I own a 2009 b 3030 I developed noise in the rear end and I took it to my dealer and they took apart the rear end to find what was causing the noise. The ring gear had 3 teeth broken off an every bearing and shim was damaged in the rear assmbely it was under warranty yet so it didn't cost me to repair it. My biggest concern is the rest of it how much other damage from all the metal shavings floating around in the pump and other gears and bearings the said it wasn't any fault of mine that the back lash on the ring and pinon was over 40 thousand when it is only to be 5-7 thousand I have one year left 8 months left on my warrenty and I'm concerd about the rest of the hydro unit I think I am going to purchess the extended warrenty just to cover myself has anyone had a simaler problem thank you matt moseng of moseng excavation Inc.

Wow. I have a 2010 B3030 and haven't had any issues of that sort yet. I have About 350 hrs on mine now. I just took it in to the dealer, though. It had a slight axle seal leak on the left side and the loader valve started to not work properly. Haven't heard back yet. It's been a couple of weeks. Better check on that today.

I hope that is the end of your troubles. How long is it down for?

It only has 342 hrs the right side (setting on it) started to leak when bh75 backhoe was on it it didn't leak when it was off and noise was almost gone with backhoe off within 3day of it dripping (very little) the noise started it was down 3weeks /

I have a B2630 and around 60 hours the rear PTO stated making noise. I brought it in to the dealer and I was told it was gear chatter. The noise goes away with a load. I posted about the noise here on the forum. I haven't had any trouble with it and I have put a total of 130 hours on it. What did the noise sound like?

thats odd when i was in getting my tractor repaired there was tractor there with it pto out and i think it was a 2920 thought that poor guy is gona be there awhile in the past two years i have seen over 15 kubotas of all sizes but not that old i would say 2006 up split in hafe being repaired ? I im sure other manufactures have the same problems but im kinda concernd i was planning to buy a M59 ($41,000.00) this spring , but now im a little uneasy about it and three weeks down time is WAY TO LONG to have a tractor down for .
i still want to stay with kubota but ?

it sounded like a pto drive shaft out of balance or when you lose a u joint whinewhinewhine but consistent
