I have a new KK II 60" tiller and I was wondering if it is compatable with the iMatch without any modifications.

KK makes a pro model thats made for a QH but mine is not that kind.

Thanks

Why don't you try hooking it up....and find out?

Mine works with my Harbor Freight quick hitch, but just barely. The lower hitch pins are almost too wide to fit, but do and if I recall correctly, I had to relocate the top pin position. Personally I have modified all of my implements to fit my quick hitch. It just makes it much easier.

I don't have an imatch QH to try. Just wanted to check before I got one. I'll probably get one anyway as I have three Frontier implements that it should fit. Just checking to see what modifications were needed if any on the KK.

I have the non QH KK tiller and had to make a few mods to fit the QH, but it does work. The main problem I ran into was the pins on the tiller were too close to the frame and the hooks on the QH would not clear. I just machined about .120" off the rear of the hooks and that fixed that problem. The next glitch was the upper bushing where the top hook of the QH grabs, was very tight in the hook. I removed it and reduced the diameter by about .075" and now everything is fine.

Thanks for the info. If there is a way you could send me a pic of your mods I'd appreciate it. Like I said I'll probably get one anyway and find out for myself but getting that image in my head before I have to deal with it would be great. Thanks again for your reply.

Sorry LHS, but my tractor is 50 miles from home. The best way I can discribe the milling on the bottom hooks is, from the rear with the QH on the tractor, I removed some of the thickness of the hook (front to rear). They are about an inch thick so no worries on weakening them. As to the top bushing, there is a bolt that runs thru the tiller with a bushing to keep the two supports on the tiller from squeezing together as the bolt is tightened. The bushing was just a tad tight on my upper QH hook. I removed it with the intention of replacing it with a smaller diameter bushing but saw it had probably a .300" wall thickness, so I just reduced its diameter. Hope this is clear. If not IM me and I will get you my phone number and I will try to do better.

For most of us swapping the bushing out would be easier to do to make the top link fit.

Good info from beersngars if you only have one IMatch grinding down the hooks is a reasonable fix.

I get the idea now. Thanks

I have an imatch and a 72" KK tiller and they hook up perfectly. I didn't have to do anything to them. DSCN0281.JPG
