I'll be trailering my Frontier CA 2060E behind my JD 3520 for the first time in a few days.

Looking for advice on how to set down the aerator on the trailer.

I'd like to leave the three support stands down while its riding on the trailer so the spoons don't dig into the wooden floor boards. Don't know if that would be too much stress on the stands while riding.

To prevent that I could put down some plywood to protect the floor, rather not just something else to fool with.

Don't have any pics. The Frontier is like the Woods and Befco models.

I would put down a piece of sacrificial wood like 3/4 ply wood or even a heavy stall mat for horses first.

I agree. I think that would be easiest.Maybe even a piece of rubber, like some mudflaps or belting. You can put a screw in each corner of the wood or rubber so it doesn't move around on you.

Just use a few old deck boards screwed down where the pluggers will rest, you can drive right over them and they will stay put till you remove them. A few good bumps would really bugger up your trailer deck, spend a few minutes to prevent it. I keep broken top boards from dump trucks around for this type of sacrificial use when hauling pluggers, trenchers etc.

I have some nice heavy duty pallets, I might try one of them. I would think thats how it was shipped to start with. Thanks for steering me in the right direction.
