Fel flattens tires

Filled tires do not add front lift capacity. Suspended weight in the rear cantilevers some of the weight off the front tires providing a little more load capacity. Note "a little more capacity" oftem people put the biggest loader available for their tractor when the next size down would be easier on the machine.

My opinion only

I thought that on a Kioti DK40 the lift capacity was around 2,700 lbs. What is this 1,074 lbs that you are talking about?

I have to assume he is talking about the KL351 loader (1,412lbs) and not the KL401 (2,761lbs) that I assume you have. All I guess on my part (maybe his as well?), because I didn't see what tractor you have until the quoted post above, just seen someone talk about the DK40.

I think he is using the KL120 figure. I recall 1074lbs is the lift capacity for a CK20.

First of all, it is not me, I do not have a Kioti. The OP has a DK40se, or that is what is in his profile. So I am assuming that he has the 2761lb lift capacity.

I think specifically, loaded rears do add some FEL lift capacity, but they don't reduce the load on the front axle like ballast hanging off the back does.
So loaded rears allow you lift more but also stress the front axle more while doing it;)

Yes sir, I understand that, I didn't see it in the OPs profile, my opps on what tractor he has (not noticing his profile)... But it looks like we all are on the same track now ;)

What we need is for the OP to come back and tell us that his tires were low on air and his problems are now gone. ;)

I think he filled his tires with Helium.. and will have to wait till they leak out some air and he comes back down to earth... i hate it when that happens:laughing:

I am confused also, my mistake, looked at the wrong loader.

Here are the KL401 loader specs.

Relief settings 2,556 psi

KIOTI - run ahead of the pack!

Hey guys haven't went to my woodlot yet, so haven't checked the pressure. I'll take a pressure gauge and check. They are ag tires and I have a bb on my 3pt and the metal rear wheel weights on the back so counter balance is no issue. It stalls the tractor before it lifts the back up in most cases. If they do need air I was just going to drive it to my truck and use the 12v compressor. I do have the dk40 and it is rated at 2700#. A bucket full of gravel I was estimating at 700-900#. Not sure if a heaped bucket weighs much more. But it would be nice to know if someone has weighed a full bucket of gravel. Thanks for the advice. Also does anyone know how to post pics from their iPhone using the tractor by net app.
