What is the H2O Vaccum Minder? Is it monitoring the air filter or the water flow container below the turbo charger? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I bet the "h20 vacuum" is is the value of restriction the guage is reading. Is is common for vacuum to be measured in inches of water or mercury.
Thanks for your reply. Is there anything to service in the intercooler, of is it one of those "if it's not broke, don't fix it" things?Paul, the "tank" on the left side of the engine is a water cooled inner-cooler. It is standard equipment on the 4630. 4430's did not use one. The 4640 and 4840 were equipped with them also. I'm not sure about the vacuum minder. It could be a remote unit for the engine or some people used them on the cab filtration system in spraying operations. They were designed to prove the cab was pressurized to keep chemicals out.
