Anyone more plants from outside to inside for the winter so they can have veggies year round? Wife is looking at having some container plants and is looking for some information on what works well indoors?

Have a special room for them with their own light or regular light work fine?

Any information or direction where to start to look will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

We have a screened in back porch we are thinking about putting up some plexiglass or something to make it enclosed, its just surrounded by trees. She does want a greenhouse out on our drain field area of the yard, that is the only part that does not have trees on it.

sounds like you need a greenhouse.

We have done OK with Tomatoes, if it's a small plant. Having the extra room seems to be the most limiting factor to me. Some smaller herb plants seem to do well also and a few are actually "decorative" to a degree.
