Be careful with that broken collarbone or you will end up with problems later in life like me.

I broke mine in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago. Didn't listen to the doc, and it never healed correctly. Hurts continuously now......even down into my shoulder socket. I think Arthur has come to stay.

DANG! Now you are scaring me...

What did you "do" the DR said not to do?

I am actually doing VERY well it seems, the pain is MUCH less, and I am gaining range of motion and strength every day.

I am TRYING to take it easy... But I am also doing anything I can that does not hurt.

Be well,
David

I rebuilt my motorcycle, along with anything else I felt I could reasonably do.

My collarbone is split longways for 2 inches(not a clean break). The constant moving of my arm didn't allow the bone to heal correctly and it is 'offset'

My advice is to not use that arm at all, for anything, until it is healed completely. It will come back to haunt you later.

When I moved to our new place with the 600-foot driveway it was the old '93 walk behind snowblower, made obsolete by the BX tractor and BX plow.

Of course one man's junk is another man's treasure. I let my son's friend have it for the house he was renting just before the 17 inches of October snow fell. He was very grateful. Of course it wasn't junk and started right up after two years because I kept it up and always ran the gas out of the lines after each use (In Central MA each use may be the last use for the Season).

I was tempted to mention my 22-year old son, but it is the Holiday Season and I am trying to be nice.

For me its my brush hog ... I keep my fence lines sprayed as well as my pastures and hay fields. I have 1/4 mile of road ditch that gets cut a couple times a year and that takes all of a couple hours and then the hog gets parked again.

The best exercise is the slow lifting of the glass of whiskey to your lips .. not to mention the pain killer involved.

Rear blade if you already have a good scraper box.

Not for me. A box blade wont angle:mad:

For me, the most usless is my RFM, at least since I got the ZTR.

Moldboard plow. My JD 2-14 is pulling duty as a lawn ornament now.

Seconded .....Never regretted sending the ploughs to the shredder .

Yeah everyone has different needs and methods of working their land. Also depending where there at.

The most useless item I ever bought was a rotary hoe with a three point hitch. These were used back in the cotton farming days to break up the crust that formed before the seeds came up. I had the mis-guided idea I could make it into an aerator with some modifications. Didn't work. It was too light and would not punch a hole very well. Anyway, gave $100 for it 20 years ago and still have it. My wife has asked what I'm going to do with it and always tell her that we'll need it if we ever plant cotton.
