Don't think there is a limit.
I have a BX24 with 815 hours and when I lift and dump the bucket, there is quite a bit of slop. One day I will check and see if it is the pins or the holes in the arms and cylinder mounts.

It is probably neither, at least on my 2350 the stop pins are off by at least 1/2" which makes for a lot of slop at the buckets cutting edge when the bucket is fully curled back. What Ii did to fix this problem was to round off the stop pins a bit with a grinder, then I drilled and tapped a 3/8" hole in the ends of the stop pins. I then slipped a peace of large rubber and metal mesh hydraulic hose over the pins. To keep it in place I added a 1.5" washer and a 3/8" bolt. Problem solved.

Deano Well here yuh go. In my comment I said 1/2" gap what I should have said the gap is between 1/8" and 3/16", it's been a long time since I did this. Here are the pictures of the fix, I got really tired of the bucket bouncing around and making a racket not to mention that it's hard on the pins and holes.

Because of the way that the loader is built 1/8" gap at the pins makes for a huge amount of movement at the cutting edge, like around 1.5".
The rubber bumpers have to be replaced from time to time as they get squished flat and tend to fall apart but thats no big deal. Maybe there is something better than old hydraulic hose to use but I haven't found it, besides I have around fifty feet of it laying around so I'm good for awhile..
