only one wire going to it, grounds to itself through the bolts but ill take it off and clean were it bolts to block good point thanks

I thought you said it works when you put power to the wire ..so ground is good.

Your right, some how I read it as he had power to it and didn't work. Agreed, ground good.

His words "it does have power for a about 10 seconds after u cut the switch off ,but it wont pull in"

How much power?, how did you check for power ?

that is correct there could be a bad connection or relay on that side. it could be checked with a voltmeter when connected to the solenoid to see if the voltage drops off.

since it occurred after tinkering I would suspect connection first.

do u know witch relay or timer runs the shut off?

cked for power with a voltmeter has 12.4 volts

it may be that the voltage drops off when it tries to pull in the solenoid. check the voltage when it is connected trying to do work.

I don't know where the relay for your tractor is but you can download the wiring from the Messick's | Dealer for New Holland, Case IH, Kubota, Cub Cadet and More | Online Parts, Sales & Service. site

FOUND IT WOHOO!key stop timer kabota number t0070 31410 or denso number 061700-3770 if that helps anybody else who has this problem. it finally quit giveing me power alltogether and that is how i found it.i thank all yall for yalls help.it did not have anything to do with me takeing the dash out just bad timeing for the timer to go out.
