Reminds me of a funny story...

I was traveling from Norfolk VA to Louisville winter before last when that big eastcoast snow storm hit. Was in my 4x4 F250 but had summer tires and no weight and was heading into the mountains. Decided to stop at a Lowes and get something to throw in the bed. Went in the "contractors entrance" and told the guy at the counter that I was looking for something " cheap and heavy". Without missing a beat he reaches in his pocket, pulles out his cell phone and says " No problem, I'll call my ex-wife". Having one of those myself we both got a good laugh

I guess she wasn't available, I ended up with sand.....

That is funny!! But I've never heard ex-wives referred to as cheap :laughing:

That's just wrong
I've always been a meat and potato guy, thick and cumbersome doesn't bother me, however there is a limit. I always told my wife I was built for comfort not speed.

I read this with a smile. But I totally agree. You can also change the word "tractor" to any mechanical vehicle. I feel the same about each of my Jeeps individually. When I'm running the roadgrader I feel the same. It's a rare occassion when one of these surprises me. I always know what's about to happen and why. Even when it's about to go bad. I think that's what a good operator should know.

I would have to say my cup holder on my tractor. Unless I am trying to make a mixed drink that may or may not be there when I want it.

Mine has never had a cup in it but holds the propane torch for starting fires just fine.

We use my slip scoop all the time now. Half is used for skidding logs. The other half is used for transpanting trees and digging small deep holes. It mounts onto my forks to extend the reach and quick on and off. You can still see the unit number on the scoop from the auction sale I bought it at. I think I paid $10 for it.

For me it has to be my box blade. Ever since I put a blade on my Jake Rake the box blade has sat to the side of the barn.
