Perhaps the dictionary definition is the one that is diffused. The word, useless, is easily divided into use-less. If I use it less, is it useless? If useless is an absolute meaning no use whatsoever, then isn't most useless a misnomer? How can something be more or most useless if useless is an absolute? Isn't that implying less than zero? Hey, I understand what you are saying, but I'm just bein' a bit of the devil's advocate here.![]()
... And why? because its useless. The redundant adjective only helps drive home the inherent meaning. Its a big huge issue. For language perfection take a look at the choice of infringe in the 2nd amendment. It makes all gun control unconstitutional.What is the most useless piece of equipment?
