Well, Brin and others, it will be nice to switch over and check this post for how the weather is different in the SE states. I suspect that most of our storms work their way up toward the midwest and miss you when they leave Texas. You probably get more movement of tropical weather from the Gulf than those of us in N. TX, and certainly you get more of the Alantic hurricane season than we see here. Keep it going. There are lots of members in GA and the SE states.

Deep --- You and I both know LSU cheated...did you see the replay of the LSU player throwing the ball to the ref before he crossed the line for the touchdown...he clearly did not have a touchdown and there was another bad call or two...The first half the Dawgs could have run up the score...too many missed opportunities....and well the 2nd half...you know the rest..

Deep...So far we have - SimsS then Clemsfor, almost in Georgia and Western, a Texan helping us so now if we can talk flyingcow into moving to Georgia from Maine, well then we can catch up to the Texas posts much quicker...:)

Flyingcow...We get some occasional snow and an ice storm here or there and once in awhile the temps can go down to 15 deg. but our winter only lasts from Dec to the end of Feb ...that is the worst part of it and it really can't be anywhere near as bad as Maine or points North...Ya'll come on down...Ya here !

My office is 1mile from GA, and im in GA almost everyday for work. Sometimes i feel like a 1/3 native as i spend most of my days all day in GA?

You're right Jim, the Texas weather systems move up way west of us and go north east from there missing us...but we do get remnants of the Atlantic hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms and snows ...Crazy weather compared to 30 or more yrs. ago...We still struggle in drought...seems like we have since about 1980...back then we could plant our crops or gardens in mid March...now it is mid April to be safe...

Well we're glad to have you...you probably spend more time in Georgia than some Georgians do that travel out of state all the time...So we are counting on you as a thread member and fellow Georgian at least part of the time...

Jim, I'm glad you pointed that out, since Texas is so big, there may be some that live here that think Georgia is part of East Texas!!:D

I think the only thing that divides Texas from Georgia is all the weather that comes between us, from Alabama Miss. & Louisiana :D
