Funny thing, I just had a new Modine unit heater installed. When connected to the electronic thermostat I used for years on my old GE furnace, it would keep the temperature at 20 degrees instead of the 10 degrees that it was set for. I switched to an old mechanical mercury switch T87 Honeywell and all is good. The electronic thermostat only had two terminal points so I definitely didn't connect it wrong the the unit heater only shows two terminals to connect the thermostat to. Weird, eh?
