Well, it's official... I've just received notice from Mother Deere that the "nightmare" I experienced with the Park bracket on my new 5075M was not my fault!
Or even the fault of the shipper's - trucking and barge! (I woulda sworn they "DID IT"!)
Nope, the Park indicator position bracket "may be misaligned" and I should be aware that it might be a "safety concern" if the tractor should roll into the side of the barn when parked.
Yep... it was a "safety concern" alright -- it was a downright -- PITA!
Of course, now that I've paid out of pocket to have the tractor fixed; Deere says it won't cost me anything...
Any idea if they'll actually reimburse me for trucking mileage and repair costs... I'm not really gonna hold my breath on this!
Time will tell.
