Ha! I've broken that hydro filter mount off about three times and smashed even more of the filters. The part is more like 65$ and it is super easy to replace. The smashed filter is also very expensive though so together, yeah, 110$.

I've got about 1050 hours on my CK30 (same as CK35 with a scosh less HP) and it really has been quite dependable.

Mousefield,

What brand is your PHD?

And more to thread topic- I'm always amazed by what you guys are doing with your CK series Kiotis. But, I'm not surprised that you're able to accomplish the tasks, knowing what a great build Kiotis are across their line of tractors and implements.
To the OP, good luck in your search and final decision.

TMR...

You'll want the power of the CK35 thatç—´ for sure. The frame size has not been a problem at all. I think the next size up it would be. I take a chainsaw with should I need it. I知 in Moose Lake if youæ±*e interested in looking at my CK35. Get Rimguard you'll be glad you did.
The only thing that is a problem is the location of Hydro filter under the tractor. I wasn't watching closly and broke it off. That was a $110 repair. They sould have put it somewhere else.

I drove a larger frame model at the dealer in Duluth...seemed pretty large. He has only one very small Bobcat and the large frame unit.

I think he is not too happy w/Bobcat right now and sure stocks a lot more Kubotas.

Where did you buy your Kioti? ONe of the issues is Bobcat dealers are everywhere and Kioti dealers are hard to find. Did you buy at the dealer west of Mpls? If so how ere they to deal with?

Thanks...I amy someday take you up on your offer to take a look at your Kioti. I do really like the Kioti...wish they had more dealers.

Thanks...TMR...we are between Duluth and Two Harbors five miles inland from Lake Superior...

This is an old home made auger. Bought it used a couple of years ago. Previous owner had it for about 15 years, he was a landscaper and said he had drilled thousands of holes with it. He bought it used, could be 30-40 years old. It's made out of a car or truck rear end. Sure works well. :)

I'm turning the corner on the third summer with my CK35. My cabin is on 180 acres in the north woods of Minnesota. The CK35 is the most wonderful toy I've ever owned.

Great stories about your Kioti. You painted some great mind pictures of the work you have done. Sounds like the food plots and clover in trails were put in with the philosophy of "build it and they will come"

Hello Everyone

I'm turning the corner on the third summer with my CK35. My cabin is on 180 acres in the north woods of Minnesota. The CK35 is the most wonderful toy I've ever owned. I have close to 200 hours on the Jim Dandy now. When I bought the tractor three years ago and I had somewhat of a plan of what I was going to do with it, (make a decent driveway to the cabin) well it didn't take long and I now have the best food plots in the north county, thanks to my JD 66 tiller, and this year I bought a 32 ton 3pt log splitter from Tractor Supply. The wood pile has never been the same. The 72 brush cutter has produces some of the best ATV trails the deer have ever seen. I planted clover on them. They just love this stuff!! This is the first year I've seen deer with racks over 10 points something I'm doing must be working.

The most amazing thing about this tractor has to do with my wife. She was little upset when I bought it. Stating What are you going to do with that? Now she uses it for her projects too. She just loves hauling her landscape\garden stuff around in the loader.

The only thing that doesn't work is the right flasher. Don't use it much

Have a great day:thumbsup:
Good review of your tractor and the projects it has preformed.I am also in my 3rd year of ownership of my Kioti DK40se with front loader.I have 240 hours of flawless time on mine and hope to get many more.coobie

This spring I traded in my CK20HST, that I bought last year, for a CK35HST. The 20 had 290 Hours on it, plowing, skidding and splitting, but the lift capacity was wanting and I felt the extra weight would benifit my terrain. So far the 35 is a jewel,(130 Hours) however I too have broked off the lower filter, in the bush. I needed to replace the filter housing and that took me a while since the dealer is 120 K away and I wasn't prepared to pay a lot for travelling mechanics. Did I mention I'an not, repeat, not a mechanic? I picked up the part, had a long chat with a real mechanic and spent the next 3 hours under the machine. Part cost $16, Filter $49, Hydraulic Fluid $112=$199.00. Was truly heartbreaking to watch all that hydraulic pour onto the ground. My dealer does the 50 hr free! My 50 Hr (after 2 weeks) cost me $97 for materials. It took a great deal of effort to remove those lower hydraulic filters on both tractors. I would recommend having the dealer do the first one even if you have to pay as I would have not gotten the filters off by myself and I had a good lesson as well. I am so very happy with my Kioti!

Sorry to hear of your troubles. This is the reason I buy Deere, I have the best dealer support and they are scattered through my area whereas the competition doesn't have the same dealer support. I buy what I can get serviced.
