Scope with rings and base, and cap covers a whopping $200!!!

I usually don't scrimp on good glass, but I won this .270 in a raffle (first time I've ever won anything LOL).

Redfield Revolution, 2x7x33.

Did some research, Redifield was bought out by Leupold, offers a lifetime warranty, and I know that Leupold's customer service is second to none (and nothing but good reports from what I've read on the "new" Redfield line customer service as well).

Impressed with the scope. It was only $159. Yes, you can tell the difference between 2k german glass and a low end ($150) scope, but overall looking at this scope, very impressed with everything about it.

If you're ever in the market for a less expensive scope, I'd highly suggest you look at Redfield. I'm kind of sold already but I'll know for sure after this weekend when I take it out back.

Dang, I never win nuth'in

Darn pretty rifle too, love the grain. Interesting info on the scope, I havent heard they sold to Leupold, but remember the Redfields when I was younger.

Good glass sure isnt cheap like you said, but for $200 worth a shot. Hard to beat that Austrian crystal.

At least you didn't spend it on a colonoscopy!

I own seven Leupold scopes..the low end ones.I recently saw their 2x7x40 VX 1 for $179.00.Good price for a very good scope.I also read they are now building the Redfieds;wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
Is that rifle a Remington?

700 BDL in a .270 Winchester

Adjustable trigger. More than happy with the gun. As mentioned, I'll find out more this weekend.

Funny, the gun shop was over an hour away from the mower place where I bought the raffle ticket. However, one reason why I bought the ticket is the guns were coming from the one shop I frequent. The gun shop owner said it was the first time he ever knew the person who actually came in to claim a rifle:laughing:

Judging by the title, I thought maybe you had bought a Leupold Mark 4 or a Nightforce. Nice rifle and scope - and a really good deal on both!

Sure beats buying some chinese crap, or the cheaper philipino made scopes that other brands are offering
