We took this one outside of Charleston, This old live oak is at Magnolia plantation. That's my wife in the pix, she is 5'4"...

I bet that tree could tell some stories!

Of of the many trees I have shot over the years, this one while no centurian, it was none the less a beauty. Located on the outer banks. And I few more i have found over the years.

I had the largest Pecan tree in Louisiana until Katrina. :(

Wish I had taken photos of it before it was destroyed.

When I was a kid, my parents took us to Sequoia National park, those where some Huge trees there too

I think the largest Pecan tree I've seen wasn't half the size of yours. That certainly was quite a large example.

My property has a bunch of really big live oaks on it. I didn't realize others might be as interested to see them as I am. Below is one of the sort of medium sized ones:

Then there's this big ol' live oak: The Seven Sisters Oak in Louisiana. The largest certified southern live oak. Estimated to be over 1,500 years old (or over 1,000 depending on what you read). 38-foot trunk:
