Lincon 250 Mig

Just wondering if anyone has one of these and if they are any good. Found one for a great price and dont want to miss out.

Well lincoln products are normally some of the best, but there have been lemons. I know a lot of people like the big lincoln migs. Id say if it works, go for it.

Ya it says it needs some work on the wire feed(i had a similar issue on my clark which i fixed simpily) but for 500 bucks i think its workable. I priced a new 255(updates model) and there 2600 and the miller 252 is 2800. So im looking for something more reasonable. My little clark 180en is just gettting to small for the bigger jobs im doing.

I would go take a look at it. If you see something small that looks easy to fix, get it. See if you can test it, and see if the drive motor works. If the drive motor is shot, it might not be worth it. If the drive motor works, and nothing looks smashed or snapped, get it.

Ya just waiting for the guy to get back to me with his number. He says it works but had some feed issues every now and then.

Well that narrowed it right down, didn't it? Never seen a wire feed yet that didn't have feeding issues at one time or another. Could be a hundred different things to cause it.

Ya but my clark had feed issues and all it took was a new feed roller. and i was up and going. Im gonna go look at it and see if i cant get a better deal on it. If i can get this and be into it for less than what i wanted to spend then im fine with that.
