ariens snowblower shakes violently

newbie to ariens snowblowers.
last year ran great.
now, shakes violently when engaging the auger.
engines runs smooth, drives just fine too.
please help...

Sounds like you may have broken a paddle (blade) off of the impeller. That would make it shake pretty bad.
