Yep.. my choice would be the later one with more hp, the 6' mower, live pto, live hyds and better ground speed options for sure..

What would be wrong with the 8n/9n and stepping down to a 5' cutter??

Thats an Idea... Would like sumting gas that I could tinker with and not change implements just cut grass.

Keep your eyes on c-list

Good running (but maybe not so good looking) 8n's w/5' cutters can be had for under 2k.

And if fixing is required, they are cheap and easy to work on.

Murphy- I have a 1963 Ford 2000 with a 4 cyl gas engine and most of my use is with a 5 foot brush cutter. It works very well and has enough HP for cutting.

Murph, if you don't mind me asking why not just save yourself the couple bucks and hook it to you BRAND NEW Kioti? I do understand if you just want to have an extra toy (done that a couple times) and old tractors are fun - I have one but Sound Guy has a couple more.

New Kioti has a backhoe I don't want remove to cut the back 40
