The problem is finding a big enough hat. Even Filson only shows XXL, which is 7-5/8. I wear an 8! Stormy Kromer goes up to an 8; I'm going to try one after I move from FL. In the summer, I wear Tilley hats, simply because they make 'em big enough.

I've got one of these:

Liked it so much I bought every adult in the family one for Christmas a few years back. It has to be COLD to wear it. The best part is the looks you get at a traffic light or when you stroll into a store with the thing on. It's a real conversation starter.

The only problem I have with fur hats (rabbit, Coyote or anything else) is that the dogs love 'em! You really need to watch where you set 'em down or hang 'em!
(Yep, got one of those "Madbomber" hats with rabbit fur...and my dog lets me wear it...sometimes)

Anywhere on the plains or in the forests, you have a better than even chance of getting shot at! :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

And if you dare wear it in downtown Boulder, you're libel to being spray painted (they don't like to see "real fur" down there... You could take a leash with you and pretend to walk it when in certain zones :thumbsup: Yeah! That might work!).
