anyone have one of these units...looking for some realworld users. do they last is the real question for me? It will be in a garage/homeowner for projects.

I recommend separate units. Overall reliability is better, as well as performance.
Seaching for approvals can be done at most listing agencies to tell which specific welders are listed.

So it really helps to identify specifically which welder has what rating in a way that can be found on those approval agency sites.
