Sorry' no coyotes get a pass here.They have decimated the turkey population here.Tough on the deer fawns in the spring also.The hound hunters in the area kill hundreds every year..we still have lots of coyotes.
Good point, they have moved in here and are a huge pain.
The northern coyote is bigger then the southern because of cross breeding with wolves. They also are more likely to attack because of predatory instincts that were passed. I have been surrounded more then once on a dark night out in the yard. It's an erie fellings when a human feels they may be on the lower end of the food chain.
