The people of Cordova, Alaska would welcome you and Killer II with a ticker tape parade. That would make one he!! of a video.

Man it's hard to beleave that much snow could attack one area. Not sure how well Killer II would do in that. Might not even find him in all that snow

Matt your trick worked with the fogging of all my windows. Anyone with a Grand L cabed tractor that experiences window fogging do what my buddy mjncad (Matt) suggested and turn on your A/C with your heat up and the fogging disappears. Before Matt told me this trick I tried Rain-X and I will say about that is keep your money in your pocket.
Yesterday while out plowing I had no fogging so just for fun I turned off the A/C and left the heat exactly where it was and the fogging returned in a few minutes. Turned the A/C on again without touching any other controls and the fogging disappeared.

Great tip Matt. I owe you one

Want to say Thanks to Paul Short as well!, I found this site a year ago and purchased a used 2006 Kubota L-4330HSTC. I have asked many members questions and all have been kind to offer their input, etc. I noticed Paul short had "front fenders" on his old 4240, i asked him many questions on the fenders, etc. and i was able to order thru a Canada dealership. I asked about his backup camera, and again always replied back offering his help and suggestions. Point blank, Paul is very talented like so many other members on this site, Paul congrats again! (ps where is the snow in New Hampshire this season!!!)

You're welcome on the AC trick Paul; but I can't take the credit for it. That goes to Honda's engineers for having the AC come on when you select defrost on my Mom's 2001 Accord.

Now if I could adapt Honda HVAC controls to my '99 F-250, I'd be a happy camper; but I digress.

Don't know where it started, but wife's Toyota Matrix is the same- in "defrost" the A/C compressor kicks in. (Not so on my VW Jetta...) It really does work. I almost think my Mom's Buick LeSabre did that, too.

Just checking in after being gone for a while so belated congratulations on well deserved recognition. I always look forward to your posts to see how things should be done. Looking forward to your Grand L air seat mod. Jim

I just read your entire page and I think you gave yourself a little less credit than is due, only 3 pages of modifications! By the time your done with your tractors the only way to tell their a Kubota is the orange paint!!

This is well deserved though, congrats:thumbsup:

Hey Philip your more than welcome my friend. That's the idea of these site, being willing to help each other out. Sure wish you'd post a picture of the beautiful tractor of yours on here so everyone could see just how nice you have it accessorized. ;)

If you soon don't get any snow I'll see if I can get you a part number for some and just call the nearest Canadian dealer and have them send some up to you

Thanks for commenting buddy

Well it sure keeps the glass from fogging up. The first trip I made was awful. I could hardly see where I was going  Now there's no fogging. The 4240 wasn't as bad but I may have had the heater controls dialed in differently. Leaving the A/C on and the heat up works for me so it's staying that way.

Thanks Jim. Ya I'm looking forward to the seat mod as well. They told me they had it all in stock and the next day when they were supposed to ship they called and said the right arm rest was missing and it would take three weeks to get it. I told them not to ship until the seat was complete. I was afraid that if they shipped the seat they may never ship the arm rest. I guess I'm not that trusting anymore after being promised before and not having it work out.

Should be starting it in two weeks. I've got the heated seat kit here now so I'm getting edgy wanting to get going at it. Thanks for your kind thoughts and don't stay away so long the next time

Thanks Stu. Sometimes posting the photo's and write-ups takes as long as the projects but If it helps others it's well worth it. It's great to hear you've enjoyed seeing my work. Much appreciated :)

 You know, I think your right  I remember taking everything off the 4240 and putting it on the 5740 and it took 2.5 weeks and then I added more mods. They do add up to an extensive list but looking at the tractor they are very well hidden. For example. The auto wipers. Can't notice them but they are there. Painting some of it the same orange as the tractor helps conceal it as well :D

Thanks for the chuckle and the kind remarks. Really enjoyed reading them

That's really what I enjoy about your customizations anyway, they look very clean and like they could be a "factory" job:thumbsup:
