How Long Have You Been A TBN Member?

I see you have been here 11 days longer than me.
I've been around 11 years and 4 months as of this coming Wednesday.

I THINK my real join date was a year or so earlier. Not that it really matters, but for sake of curiosity I would like to know. There was some glitch that removed our real join date and I think we lost our post count.

I bought my tractor in October of 2000. I know I was researching my tractor purchase very deeply well before October. My guess is that I joined in very early 2000 at the latest but more likely it was earlier. I was reading the website when the name change happened but I might not have joined and was just a lurking.

I really wish I knew my real join date so I would know how long I have been on the website. It has certainly been a long time. Who would have thunk it. :laughing:

I always forget your name when TBN history comes up; you have been around for most of the time too.

Funny thing is that I often wonder what happened to people who used to hang out on TBN. There was a guy from NY, I think BobInNY or some such, that popped in for awhile and talked about trying to adopt foster kids. I often wonder if he got the kids and if things worked out. Cowboydoc of course, and there was another doc that was on for awhile. The other doc posted a recipes on how to make a sport drink. The ingredients were really cheap and I use it to this day. :thumbsup::laughing:

It's interesting that among those that mention the membership join date 'reset' all have different starting months listed themselves. I'm not doubting anyone's comments, it's just if a bunch were re-set at once, one would think they would be the same month & year. Heck, maybe I've been around longer than I think. I couldn''t say with any certainty.

And thingy...the most commas used by any member (in fact, one of our current (and veteran) members uses one of thingy's posts as a signature line).
