Kubota L3000DT 4WD
Ok so I am a blue tractor guy.. Ya ya ya. But I ditched my Holland and got me a Kubota L3000DT 4WD because my brother had one and after using John, New, and a massy places that he as worked and so on and so forth he talked me into it. No regrets great work horse. Anywho, one the foot throttle pedal (little pedal next to the break) gets stuck. I don't use it but when I throttle up with the hand I can't get it back down due to the pedal sticking. SO I have to slip my boot under there and throttle down. Which is really inconveniate if your moveing. I have it down to a science now, however if you do it to fast you get a good jerk. Two I have a mowing deck on now but this spring when I hook up the tiller this is going to be an issue, my 2PH wont go up until I have the handle at about 8 which as you would imagine is a pain, I only have about an inch of room to adjust height. SO I end up fiddling for a min. 3. It seems (could just not being on even enough ground but) to not be lifting level. The right (if your behind the tractor) is higher then the left. Unless its all the way raised the it seems level.

Also I have to replace my blinkers yep said binkers. Their missing. Though there were there at one point, I also have to replace the side cowling, one of the guys that helps me on the farm slid and hit a tree riping them off. Their fine, but where they mount is messed up. And the last thing is it ok to take off throttle down round 1.5 rpm? I know my Holland was fine but my brother said to watch that because of engine wear... Didn't sound right to me but hey figured I would ask the Orange tractor people here. No manual so you guys are my guides. lol

LOOK to see what is binding on the foot linkage...

I think you are referring to the 3 point hitch... the right side arm is adjustable to make it level.

Are you saying that you think it will idle down to 1.5 RPM...?

oops yea I ment 3ph. I ment if I put it in gear and started moveing while I had it throttled down to 1.5 RPM.

That's probably 150 rpm. And it's not good for it to go that low, because oil pressure may drop too low. Sounds like something is screwy with your throttle linkage.

I don't think you can idle as low as 150?.... If you can, and it doesn't kill the engine when you start... It shouldn't hurt anything... That just seems like too slow to keep running... KennyV

+1

I'm sure he means 1500 rpm. I've never seen or heard of a motor that can idle at 150 rpm. That's only like 2.5 revolutions per second. 1500 rpm is about 700 above idle (on my tractor) and is plenty.

150, 1500 rpm? I have no idea what he's talkin about. :D

At 1500 rpm you can do anything you may want to with your tractor...

Most will idle around 600 and if you don't release the clutch too fast, there is no problem starting out at idle... KennyV
