Anyone ever put down a cork floor?

I need to renovate the kitchen and bathroom and I'm looking at options for the type of floor to use. Was wondering if anyone has the cork flooring and what you think of it.

We have some friends who used it in their kitchen. They loved it.

I installed cork lament in a small bedroom, mostly as an experiment ( wife wanted it, I wasent convinced ).
It seemed to be a high quality product in 1'x3' sections that fit together with tight seams.
We have been very pleased with it. It seems comfortable to walk on.
Dont know how it would hold up in a kitchen, but our young son has had many spills with no effects on the floor.

I replaced the carpet in my motor home with cork. Went down easy enough. This was termed "floating" flooring. No glue needed. The edges locked together in a tongue and groove fashion. This was 5 maybe 6 years ago. We like the flooring. Easy to walk on. Held up in the kitchen area, even with a water leak.

Have a cork snap-lock floor! Great product but have an Issue in one spot have to pull up the section and relay it as the joint keeps opening up, but over all happy with it.

We have Lumber Liquidators Lisbon Cork in our kitchen and dining area -- it's the interlocking 1x3' panels that float. After installation, I put down 4 coats of water-based poly to seal it. The floor has exceeded our expectations. It's comfortable to stand on when working in the kitchen, quiet, and warm. Looks like a million bucks too. I had some concerns about wear since the kitchen is a primary traffic area in our house (between garage and everything else) but the floor and poly finish still look new after 3 years.

One thing I did was to slice up leftovers and scraps into 4" wide pieces and use them as baseboard trim and toe-kicks under the cabinets. That ended up looking great.

How did you finish the top of the base board trim ( exposed edge )?

I got some oak quarter round and stained it to closely match the cork color. That caps off the exposed raw edge on top. I have some pictures kicking around, and will try to dig them up tonight.
