Not there anymore I decided to buy it myself. To good of a deal to pass up my sweet wife told me to call the store and put it on my CC. I love my wife she is so tolerant of my tractor habit. :D

Congratulations. You will love it.

For those still on the fence about the usefulness of this, some pics of what I did today for with mine:

Used it to improve the slope/drainage around the barn. Works great grading/digging on slopes. For me, much more control than a box blade or scraper blade. Easier on the neck too and it seems to work better for getting right up against obstacles. Digs surprisingly well:

This wonder tool also works well for moving round bales and splitting wood:

The 72" RR's length is especially good a splitting longer rails for fences:

I also used it to clean out the rain gutters on my barn but no pics of that as I don't want the safety police to jump on me; I had to stand the tractor up on its back tire to reach them (don't worry I had the boxblade on so I wouldn't go over backwards). :D

It seems there is nothing that the RR won't do!

Looks good SupraCobra, how did you get it to pick up the round bale? Gonna have to try that.

Actually, I cheated and have a spear mounted in a 2" receiver on top of the bucket. The ratchet rack does help though in that the teeth keep the bale steady (prevents bale from spinning on spear).

You can see in the pic below I just welded a reinforcing plate (old railroad plate) on top of the bucket and welded the receiver to that. Crappy welds but it has held for a couple of years - I think this was the first thing I ever welded. This is my only "homemade" attachment and my easiest one to remove (one bolt).

The ratchet rack also works great for pulling gravel out of the ditch to put back on the road and fill in potholes. Should pay for itself in a few years in recovered gravel!

I had to laugh when I saw you cheater spear. The bucket angle on the round bale picture just didn't seem tilted enough to hold the bale even with the ratchet rake.:D

As long as your splaining things, how did you clean the gutters with the RR?

I guess I better fess up before I get a reputation of being a troll. I really didn't split wood or clean gutters with the RR. I was just kidding. Although it is very useful, unfortunately, it probably doesn't excel at those tasks. :D

Splitting wood should be worth a try though. Why don't you think it would work?
