The R1 ag tires can be set out to about 74 inches outside to outside. The front are not adjustable.
Can the fronts be swapped sides and gain a little??
I dont have a L4400, but on my 3400 the offset of the rims is about 1" different. So if you turn them around and swap sides, you gain about 2" each side.
Does anyone have an opinion of how handy the back smart hitches are and to which equipment would one use the male part mainly?
And how about the the FEL Tooth Bar Teeth...how handy are they and are they a hinderance sometimes...
Teeth are very handy if you plan on doing any digging with the FEL. Not really needed if you are only scooping loose piles. Like gravel, sand, mulch, piles from the BH, etc. But if actually digging soil with it, the teeth are nice.
I cant comment on any of the quick hitch/ smart hitches. But, I dont like the ones that are all one peice that includes a big hook for the TL. Because All of my implements are older and used, and not all the same spacing. So one of them wouldnt work on all I got.
And I am old school. For me, hooking up implements isnt hard at all. But If I did get something, I would probabally consider the hooks that get welded on TOP of the 3PH arms. I cant remember but I think either carter or haytools makes them. Similar to the pats system, only you dont make the lower arm "longer" by putting them on top.
