Best way to make "land" a "yard"

Depends on the tree species. Previous owner left some stumps here 10+ years ago. I needed the mini-excavator to get them out and even then they didn't "come out easily".

Heh, I yanked out a 20 year old stump last week and it still had good solid holding wood on the outside -- only the middle was rotten. I ended having to flush cut the base of it with a chainsaw. Guess it needs another 20 years....

These were Christmas trees, under 5" stumps. It seems they should come right out after rotting a couple of years. Then again I've been wrong before.
