Got myself an Ariens tiller

I just got a used Rocket VII. Body is good but motor is shot. Can anyone recommend a replacement motor?

Post a picture of it & do you know what size the shaft is on the engine?

You are basically screwed. I have a Rocket tiller too (plus a troy-bilt and a Sears front tine with a Briggs)...

The Rocket has a tecumseh HH engine with the reverse shaft and the block isn't made anymore as well as most of the parts. You'll need to find a used block or resleeve yours.

I have an extra HH engine plus quite a few Rocket parts, but they are hard to find. Better till than a Troy-Bilt Horse. Too bad Ariens quit making them.

Maybe not screwed...I just bought a nice Rocket V...the old man I got it from put a 'short block' on it...when I got home I looked it up and it is a SBH 63074. I'll post the website later when I have more time....but they are available.
