Why buy a Yanmar?

   / Why buy a Yanmar? #12
Here are a couple of pictures of the EX3200. I tried to send them in a pm, but didn't have time to figure it out. One picture is when we were unloading stuff as we moved to the place in the country. The other picture is when moving a mowing machine we had found in the woods after moving. They're the only pictures I have at work.

EddieWalker is right - 280 acres is a heck of a lot of land!!!! You my also want to look at larger machines - If you are caring for that much the larger machines can cut fast, and lift a lot more so that may come in handy.

Just think of buying a Yanmar as buying a John Deere painted black and yellow, at a lot lower price, with the same quality. Everyone knows Green Paint is real expensive.

Ya buying a ex2900 or ex 3200 is like buying a 3120 or 3320, but if you look on tractor data the deere is a little heavier:)

I think that Deere actually makes the 3120 and 3320 using a Yanmar engine, but they buy the 3005 (used to be 790/770) and the 4005 (used to be 990/970) as complete tractors from Yanmar. I looked at a EX2900 last summer and it looked like it was a 3005 with a Hydro transmission. I know a lot of the parts would interchange..

A frend of mine has a little 18 hp yanmar and he beats the crap out of it, and it still starts in the morning, to do it again. for the price they have on them. I would consider on for my lesser jobs.

I inherited a 80's Yanmar 240D with YFL-240 loader and YBH-700 BACKHOE about two years ago. I pressure wased it and replaced all the oils. this machine runs great and has a nice amout of power for its age. Not as deluxe as my nh 1630 with ss and hydro but it defently is a working machine. This unit is the old green color, not sure when they. Changed to red.

thinking about selling the backhoe just not sure if there is a market for it
