400cx loader removal

The dealer/salesman walked me through it (removal) at the dealership before I took delivery. I must admit I hate the set-up. Too close to the glass! IMO it's not a good design, 300cx 400x or 400cx.

Not looking forward to removing mine.

Well, those loaders are mounted on a tractor with a pretty short wheelbase...not going to be much room.
The short wheelbase adds to the maneuverability of the tractor.

Reckon that's one of the trade offs for the comforts of a cab.

Every other brand I looked at (Kubota, Massy, Case, NH) had a pocket or a fixed stop that the loader fed into. In other words, a zero chance of any contact with the cab glass. Seems like Deere could come up with a better Idiot proof design.

I agree the removal could get a little sketchy....the masts sometimes "pop" off the mounts as the front of the loader frame hits the ground and the masts then raise up. I think i'll always have the tractor wanting to inch in reverse a little as this process takes place.

I wouldn't worry about putting it on unless you get a little too happy with the hydro pedal.

Are you telling us that , Massy, Case, and NH buyers are idiots?
That infers the Deere buyers are smarter (well, less idiotic anyway) then Kubota, Massy, Case, and NH owners...

Good question...he hasn't been on TBN since 03 Jan.
He never was a daily or even weekly poster though...unlike the rest of you TBN junkies.
