temporary yellow strobe options

I need some ideas for a yellow flasher / strobe or rotating lamp I can put on my truck and use for limited situations.

many times at night I'll be packing up gear from work,loading off a curb, and then driving back to the office to unload.

I always use hazards.. but sometimes i'm on a site with other construction vehicles, and having a lil extra visibility for my truck, when it is stopped / with trailer on would be nice.

hazards and all side markers work.. have dot reflective tape on rear / side of trailer.. as well as marker lamps.. etc.

would like to find some temp lamp I can just whip out and go.. perhaps a mag or suction cup mount.

any of these bat powered? led?

that would be the best option.. high brite led bat powered stronbe.. no wires.. slap it on.. load and go.. etc.

otherwise I will have to tap some power.. perhaps off the spare 7 pin in the rear of the truck. I have one in the bed, and one at the rear hitch, for bumper pull setup or gn/5th wheel....

options / opinions?

That is the very reason I got my Whelen model L22HAM. I even made a mount for the magnet mount to sit on so it didn't scratch the roof of the truck. Just rip a 2x4 to fit your stake pockets, screw on a short 2x4 to the top, add a hunk of plate steel and paint your favorite color. Then you can turn it inside or outside.

Northern tool had one on clearance for $65.00 , don't know if it is still on sale. But I have the same one works great. Good luck. It is magnetic mount with cord.

just temp use.. but the wire thru the door jamb just looks boogery to me..

if I can jimmy it to a trailer socket though.. I'm fine with that...

Check out the info on the attached PDF. It is rechargeable and magnetic. Maybe it is what you are looking for?

New book from agri-supply came and saw this battery operated magnetic LED light , 6 1/4 ''wide x 4'' high . Item # 60597 red or # 60599 amber $19.49 each . Uses 4 AA batteries not included . Hope this helps.
