Picked up the new trailer Saturday morning. Have never pulled a gn trailer before so I didn't know what to expect. The ride from Lexington NC back to Bushnell FL was a piece of cake. Trailer pulled like a dream - huge difference between our 32 ft bp car hauler and this 28 ft gn. As I said, this trailer is a 28 ft with tandem axles and dual wheels. Didn't stop at any weigh stations nor the Florida Ag inspection and no one cared! Can't wait to load it up with hay.

I assume it was from Kaufman in Lexington? I have been looking at getting a bp landscape trailer from them. How were they to deal with?

Looks nice. I had a 25+5 GN with tandem duals and 12K axles for a total 25,000# GVWR. My 99 F-350 pulled it around no problems but I hated the tandem duals. I am not a dually truck guy either so that may explain it. It was heavy trailer though. With the winch and chain box full of binders, straps, and chains it was 6,500# leaving 18,500# for payload. I loaded it up quite a few times to that pulling large farm tractors and construction equipment.

Beautiful trailer, and truck also!

I have a LoadMax 30' gooseneck tandem dually, and love it.

Enjoy!

So a class 3 truck can handle a GCWR of close to 35,000 pounds???

Not talking about any legal issues or CDL stuff, just the mechanics of it.

Seems like a little to much trailer, to be useful with a class 3, maybe a 550 would be ok.

I got one (18ft BP, 14K) from them last year. They were very easy to deal with. They can either arrange to have it shipped or you can go pick up and save a few dollars. Great trailer and would use them again.
