Not sure if I mentioned this but a number of guys with the 5520 had the fuel lines rot on them and leak. Don't know about the 5525. You could just slide under the tractor on a creeper and see if they are all cracked or not. Might be an in-line fuel filter there as well but I can't recall. Hour long job.
Mine does tillage better wth the loader off and weight added to the front along with the total of four wheel weights on the rear. These can be a little bouncy in the back and weight is considered the answer. I don't know the degree the cab helps and that might be enough weight.

If I could not replace it, I would not sell my 5520. That's how much I like it. Nor would I ever part with my radials on all four wheels. The difference between radial and non-radial was way beyond my expectations. I can pull 8 shanks on a Deere 100 chisel plow with no problem. Maybe I have a photo of it or can take one. It's the chisel plow with the 3 ft high shanks and huge frame.
Also, my PTO lever was too long and awkward so I cut some off and stuffed the handle back on. Feels much better.

yes you did mention that (or someone did) and I have been under there, in there, over there inspecting ... the neighbor did show me that filter cause he had recently replaced that. I think I like that pto lever idea.

I can't wait to put a full day in the cab!! Its getting close to that time of year.
