Seems more and more, some type of censorship is used to fight an argument, rather than debate it. This is even getting common in how the media deals with politics. It also seems we as "posters" on forums, may at times post "words" or meanings that we wouldn't have said in mixed company 20 years ago, myself included.
I personally took a letter to the local newspaper rebutting one of their articles about 30 years ago, and they refused to publish it. No profanity-they just didn't like what I had to say. It's their newspaper so they can publish what they choose, and I quit buying their paper years ago. Unfortunately, other people still read their nonsense.
Walt Disney would be horrified if he were to see what Disney puts out today.
