Thank you my friend. I dont blame you for taking the easy way out. I would have went that way as well but I already had the plow and might not have got much for it if I sold it. It works well and is set up the way I like it and if some breaks I can repair it easy enough.
That a grat looking machine you have there. I bet you like that blade. I like the fact the snow don't stick to it. Does yours ave the skid steer hook up? I was looking at one from Arctic a few years ago for a skid steer but it didn't have a linear movment in it so I backed away.
I'd love to build a protective unit for your unit. That would be such an interesting job. A few weeks ago I was chatting to a implement builder in Quebec. They are a large company and they asked me if I'd be interested in working for them. Although I was humbled that they asked me i would have had to move to Quebec ad that wasn't going to happen. Not while I still had a pulse anyway
Here's the blade I was looking at a few years back. Thanks again for your kind comments on my work.

I ordered their 8' skid steer version. The quality is pretty high. So far so good. The galvanized finish is really sweet. I wouldn't do it any other way.
On the forrestry unit: My idea is a protective "halo" that encircles the plastic lid on the cab and the lights, then a flip down mesh wired front & rear windshield protector that flips up and lays on top of the cab lid when not in use.
Looks do-able. I just don't have the time. I'd like to do it in aluminum to get rid of top-heavy weight and any type of future repainting.
Let me know when you're ready to build prototype. I think they'd sell well, right here on TBN.
