trans/hydraulic oil TSC Xtreme

Here is a pic of the LS branded trans fluid.

This meets all the same specs as the Xtreem and other UTF fluids I have bought. He should be good to go.

What I always look for is Ford 134 spec. If it meets that it will meet about every other spec.

Thanks folks from what reseach I've done I believe you're correct. I have not done a fluid change yet but will be doing the 1st shortly{well if we ever have winter:)}.

Diamondpilot just checked this morning, yes it meets the ford 134 spec. Thanks again for all the info folks :) These oils are getting more confusing everyday, wonder if it's done for marketing?

our tsc sells it.

probably like a block in the cold....

That ain't no lie. It's cheap but get ready for some long warm up times. I did some repair work on a machine that had this oil in it and as far as cold service goes it was bad. In the mid 20's even after a 30 min mid high idle warm up it still moaned and groaned when I picked the bucket up. After another 20 or so minutes it worked okay.

I use Amsoil tractor trans/hyd in my tractors. It works as good in winter as it does in the summer.

I think this issue is what turns me off from the real bargain basement UTFs we all see on pallets from time to time, at a great price.

Since we only do a full change every few years, we only purchase the fluid a few times, relatively, in the life of the tractor, really. Those of us who must use our tractors in bitter cold weather for manure hauling or snow fighting realize how important low-viz and quick flow really is.

Notice that these bargain fluids never meet Kubota's SUDT or SUDT II spec. They never meet Deere's Low Viz Hy-Gard. If one lives in Florida, I doubt any of this matters, but to us further north than the gulf coast, it does.

yep.. the vis specs on the pureflow is bad and it even mentions warm weather. the ultra is fine though

for sure something to think about.. if in a cold area, spend the extra 5 $ to go from the utf with warm weather specs.. to one with better viscosity index.. :)
that's usually the difference here for instance.. on the extreme pureflow tot he ultra.. like 28 vs 32$

both of which are very cheap.. compaired to some others.

right now I stocked up on utf when some went on sale .. got some pails at 25$.. again.. lower end stuff.. but am in florida. makes great flush oil though for cleaning out a dirty sump! 1.20$ a quart.. that's cheaper than cheap engine oil 30w for celaning a sump even.. :)
