Hi, I am an Englishman that lives in South East Bulgaria. I very recently bought a small Mitsubishi KUMAIA 1520 ST from another Englishman that bought the tractor here new in Bulgaria, but is now returning to the UK and has no need for it.
I believe that this tractor is what you would call a Grey Import as I can find next to no information about it whatsoever. My research indicates that this KUMAIA name was adopted for Japanese Cooperative Farming?
It is a 2 wheel drive model, Hi & Low ratio (6 forward and 2 reverse) with a differential lock. It is of course the 3 cylinder diesel engine that runs very sweetly and has circa 500 hours on the clock. There is no safety cage and that worries me somewhat as I can sense that without any apparatus attached it can easily tip being so narrow. I have only just bought a plough set-up for the tractor and don't even yet know whether this tractor has a universal 3 point attachment or whether or not I shall need to make some modifications. The tractor currently has a shaft driven Rotavator fitted that I shall remove today - Bulgarian winter weather permitting.
I am really into this tractor and really would love to hear any information or knowledge of handbooks or similarities to any other Mitsubishi/Satoh models that are basically the same or very similar.
I can post photographs of the tractor if that would help in identification?
Thanking you all in advance for any help and assistance that you can provide.
