Any Keurig coffee drinkers here?

The wife has one, she likes it for the hot cocoa and tea. I will use it on the rare occasion I run out of coffee. I also like my coffee stronger than the brands I have used in the machine. I also like more than a half a cup of coffee in the morning.

My coffee pot has the thermal carafe. Make a pot first thing in the morning pour a cup and throw the carafe in the truck and off I go. Even if I only drink one cup from the pot, it is still cheaper.

My wife love it, and if it broke we would have to go and buy another asap.

Is the convenience of these machines worth paying $50/lb for your coffee? I pay $6.50/lb for a premium dark roast at Costco. The cost of coffee has zoomed in the last 18 months; it used to be $3.50/lb. for the same thing!

Absolutely. I like the Newman decaf, my wife likes Green Mountain Hazelnut. We each get our favorite so Momma is happy!!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: I usually drink 1 or 2 cups in the morning and don't waste any like I did before getting the Kuerig. I also have the filter pak for using regular coffee.

We primarily use a Bunn, but my mother-in-law gave us her Keurig when she downsized to a smaller one. We have the miniature filter bucket that goes in place of the k-cups so that we can use regular coffee grounds in it. We use the Bunn in the morning, and only fire up the Keurig when someone wants an single cup at a different time of day. We're not coffee snobs, but my wife does like Starbucks grounds or Dunkin Donuts grounds, both of which we tend to get from Costco.

I like the green mountain coffees, Nantuckett Blend I drink the most of, a rich full body medium roast.
Keurings are great for living on the road, and much better than anything I find in the hotel rooms.

Had trouble with the first Keuring I purchased about one year later, they replaced it free of charge, now I clean it regularly with vinegar.

Its great for on the go, but expensive compared to the old pot.

I like my coffee stronger and more of it then what I can get out of those little cup things that you have to use. I don't have one, but have been to enough friends homes who do to know that it's not for me.

At my Mississippi house they've got one of those and I can't stand it. It's weak and takes too long. I like to be able to brew a batch, walk by and top off my cup.

What works best for me is a discontinued $200 grind and brew machine that makes "10 cups." My wife and I empty two of those a morning. It grinds into a basket which then swings around over the cup. No steam goes up into the grinder area.
Good strong fresh ground coffee can't be beat.

I brew mine the old fashion way. I have a burr grinder and grind my beans fresh. I've started taking thermos of coffee to work lately so I dont waste as much as I use to. I purchase beans online and vacuum seal them in smaller packages at home.

Just wondering if anybody here uses the Keurig machine and what type of coffee do you like? For me, I like anything that is made by Tully's.
