Nnnnnoooooo.... Edward, say it ain't so..!!! You actually sat in the seat and DROVE a tractor with IVT!!! And it had a BIG loader!

Why would anyone put a loader on those things....? :D

Gettin' the fuel system refurbed, huh? Fender extensions, too. And I thought you considered those - frilly - 'cause a manly tractor should throw a little mud around!!

'Nother day closer..

AKfish

I wouldn't say its that big, I have sat in a 7930 with rear duals, 7280R with 32 inch wide tires on the back. Front tires are wide as my rear tires. (24 inches)

Why not put a loader on it! The 6430 W/ Loader is for sale at 74,000. You should pick her up!

Yeah, I am getting the darn crappy fuel system fixed. I got the pump replaced a few years ago don't recall how many but more than 2.

Fender extensions on the 5085M is a good idea for me, we have one of the field roads and I usually go 5-6 Miles on it and its still bumpy. I was in a hurry to pick up some stuff and I was going around 10 miles, mud flying everywhere on my face, arms every where and it was around October. So it was pretty wet.

About a month and a half left! I will get photos of the tractor that they let me borrow! Its actually for my friend. He bought a 7230, 5083E, 42' sprayer, C250 tiller same as mine and the same disk as me but it only has 2 tires and I have 4 on mine. But they are putting it at my farm.

I only wished that I had enough land to even begin to justify a 6430 premium!! That would be some heavy red leaf, there!!

Yeah, your October is probably like our September! Muck, mud and more mud!

You didn't have much to say about that IVT transmission, Edward... what's the verdict? Should JD go back to a collar shift on those premium's?

Gonna hold you to those pics...

I'm sure anyone could own a big tractor on a small(er) piece of land. I'm not saying you have a lot of land or little land. I wish I had a 7430 Premium! But it costs like 140K. Which is not in my price range at all.

We had a terrible August rain. Good thing I was lazy that week and I didn't bother irrigating because if it did I would lost quite a lot. My competitors lost a bit.

I kind of don't like IVT cause I dont have the drivers for it. It will take time for them to how to drive it. For me its a snap, but others it will take some time. My workers are used to a "traditional" version than a higher tech version. (dont know how to say it). I wish the 6030 Premium series had a 24/24 PowrQuad Plus instead of AutoQuad Plus 24/24. But I do like the new gear handle :D. The 6030 Standard series don't have enough features that I would like. The only reason I wanted a Premium was mostly the wide tires.. Can't wait for it to get here.

I found out how they transport the tractors from Mannheim, Germany to Antwerp, Belgium. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBu66cp2ptw&list=UUBoXjMgqTNDcY395KJQkSRw&index=3&feature=plcp[/ame]

I was at the dealers today and I saw this new Model Year 2012 JD 5085M Boy it was pretty. I should of taken more photos but I was running out of time and I had to go. Lots of stuff improved. Better position for signals, I believe there is only 4 light modes now. Off/Auto/Burn for the particulate filter i'm guessing. By the headlights they have these nice reflectors on the side. A nice 2008 JD 110 TLB they have for sale 635 hours, 4 in1 bucket, Front + Rear Aux. For $37,000. Could be good, or better than Martians :D The new 5085M has a strange looking exhaust pipe. I didn't drive it the 5085M either.. I should of but I was running out of time. They have a strange looking fuel tank this year. The Backlight on the dash is redesigned and it's not amber anymore its green.

I see that in the background! Both are really nice looking machines. I wish I could justify getting a new 5085M in place of the 5410, but with getting rid of the last horse, that's not going to happen. That 110 does look to be a nice machine though, newer than mine, but more hours and $10k more than I paid!

Darn, You got a good deal on that thing then! Does your backhoe have a thumb? The one on my dealers lot does not. If I'm lucky i'll go to the JD dealer again since I'm going with my friend tomorrow. He wants to look at the 6430 Premium W/ 673 SL Loader W/ IVT.

Mine came with a thumb, top n tilt 3ph, hydraulic box blade, grapple and forks. So much stuff they had to put it on a flat bed semi to haul it all here:)
