I am currently running a rear mount snowblower on the front of my tractor. Because the front PTO spins the reverse direction from standard I am having a hard time finding an over running coupler to smooth out my operation.
I am thinking a taking a standard over running coupler and with a couple adapters installing it backwards on my front PTO. By doing this the coupler should free wheel as designed. My question is whether or not these devises can handle the power being input onto their output shaft (male end) and output onto their input shaft (female end).
Has anyone ever done this or taken one of these things apart to see how they work?
TIA,
Blane
