I'm surprised the newer 4720 would be louder than the older 4700. That is opposite of what you found with the new M tractor.

Yes. Well I have a Pivot Power Stationary Pump that has the same engine in the 4720 their about the same. The pump puts out around 50 HP. So it would be a 4520 on the PTO. The 4720 is a tad louder than my pump
