Mowing Does my PTO shaft spin the wrong way?

I am aware that some Japanese compact tractor PTOs rotate the wrong way. I recently bought a Kubota L1802DT, and was assured that the PTO rotated the correct way, but when I connected up an Agrimaster sm150 topper, through a Binacchi overrun PTO shaft, all I got was the sound of the ratchet clutch on the PTO slipping. I changed the shaft for a fixed sheerbolt shaft, and now I have drive, but the blades are clearly rotating the wrong way. Any advice please, thanks

I think the PTO shaft from the tractor should rotate clockwise.

looking from the rear of the tractor with the pto on it should turn clockwise.

If it does I think theres a thread on her about it, and a device that changed direction .But I recall it was quite pricey. I hope turns the right way for you
