Ford Focus Hated. Who did not see this coming?

I had one of those. Yellow with a topper. Cheap to run but a real dog. Just like my '81 and '82 Rabbit Diesels. They cried for turbos. I would draft trucks as long as I could keep up with them. Night and day difference with my Jetta and Passat Diesels. Or even my mid-'60's Mercedes Diesel.

The old rabbit diesels trucks, like so many other vehicles, needed a much lower reverse gear. Mine used to "shudder" like mad in reverse, and with much load, it would choke.

PS: I had one with a turbo...it was a dog too. Better, but still a dog.

wood too. Some states/municipalities already restrict woodstove use, Vermont has placed some pretty strict regulations on outdoor furnaces too.

Well, at the rate we are going, we might as well have dollar burning steam generators to power our cars, heat our homes.
