Just sitting here at the shop watching it rain and thought I would share an experience from earlier this week. I was clearing a wood lot for a customer and had started working in a drainage area which was pretty thick with privit and honeysuckle when I hit something that was a first for me, a bucket of paint, RED PAINT,no less. You have never seen any machine go into reverse any faster. I was shutting down the mulcher head, trying to raise the head and back up at the same time. The paint did not really get on the machine as much as it splattered on the trees and bushes in front of me. I knew that there was not any body in the area but I freaked out any way when I saw the explosion of RED. All I could think of was the guy in AZ that ran over the homeless guy a couple of years ago. I guess it's a funny story now but for about 10 seconds I was screaming like a little girl.
