I got a used MC519 for my 455. It didn't come with an attachment for the 455. So, my question is for anyone who has this setup, do I just need two bolts(with some type of spacer) for the two holes in the side the the hitch bracket for the MC519 to attach to? IS is there another bracket I need.

Thanks,
Scott

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to when you talk about a spacer for the bolts. I have a 455 with MC519 cart. Look at this picture of my rear end setup and see if that helps. I just have the standard 2 bolts.

Do you have the parts that attach the blower assembly to the mower deck?

There is a front hangar bar that attaches to the deck, a chute guard on the deck, and an additional sheave on the outside blade spindle where you attach the pulley from the blower unit.

Thanks, that REALLY helps! I have all the parts for the deck, just no sure how the cart attached to the tractor at the back. It looks like I just need the two bolts to connect the MC519 to, but I want to make sure, so I will look tonight.

Scott, look carefully at the picture again - the bolts are not attached directly to the rear tractor frame, but rather to a separate U-shaped bracket that bolts to that rear frame. And in this installation, the hitch ball is used to hold the bracket in place - I just use a bolt on my 455 / MC519, but it's the same idea.

You'll need that bracket and the attaching hardware.

Yep, very good to notice that Tim. I guess I forgot the dealer installed those bolts and bracket many years ago and just assumed it was on all 455's.

Good luck Scott.

On my x749 I have the limited cat 1 hitch, looks like this will interfere with the MC 519 hookup. Has anyone converted an MC 519 cart to IMatch?

I ordered a new MC519 cart with the blower for my mower early this week, the dealer wasn't sure how much trouble this would be to modify, I guess I will find out in a few days. Any input would be appreciated.

I tired of the bracket that came with the MC519 cart that had the hook and sliding lock (too often it came unhooked and bent things up real quick). So I had a piece of flat steel bent that would molt to the cart and then just dropped pins in to the standard rear frame of the 425/445.
Pics here are of the bracket on the 425 and just the frame on the 445 where you see the holes where the bracket attaches.
I don't lose the cart anymore, and hooking up isn't much different than before.

I haven't seen the MC 519 cart in person but from your pictures it appears that I might be able to attach a horizontal drawbar to the cart and use an IMatch. I can adjust the tongue length as needed. Does this sound possible to you?

Yes, I think that iMatch would work fine.
Just may set back further and you'd need a longer chute so when the MC519 cart is in the dump position the telescoping chute doesn't separate.

Thanks for the reply, I think I would rather extend the chute than take the IMatch and hydraulic top link off to use it. Should be in within a week or so and will post pics of any modifications I do.
