Does this resolve the HST test port pressures being too low, as discuss in previous postings?

The hydraulic hose does appear different then the "temp" fix installing on my tractor. I would also recommend waiting for 80 degree weather before stating this is permanent resolved, since this issue does appear to be very temperature sensitive . Don't get me wrong I hope it is resolved.

I don't believe we ever heard back from the guy who did all the pressure testing. Maybe he couldn't reproduce his original results.

I can't comment on the test port pressure results/changes or no change issue. I can say I WAS running in 80 degree F temps*, bucket loading huge piles of roadside mud/muck to the point of hitting the relief valve pressure level on the loader and having to use low gear 4x4 and diff lock to keep from getting stuck.
*We broke record temps a bunch of days last week!
And believe me when I say I'm fully cognizant of not wanting to jump the gun on this issue being remedied, BUT I've been listening to it since 10 hours on this tractor and when it's NOT there it is clearly, SO FAR, not there.
If for some unknown reason it comes back you will be reading about it right here.
And FWIW, I think Kioti probably took into account the pressure issue when they designed the new hose/bolt parts, rather than just getting rid of the squeal noise, but that is just my opinion, not a fact. As I think about the low pressure issue it occurs to me that remedying the squeal may be synonymous with balancing the pressure since the HST probably squeals partly due to not being able to pass enough fluid fast enough with the original parts installed, thus a side effect of the low pressure is the squeal and vice-versa. Again, opinion, NOT fact.

I took a look at the hose install on my DK-40 and was surprised to find that the new attenuator hose ONLY connects to the transmission and is capped closed at the other end of the hose. It does NOT return to the HST filter. So, this leads me to believe the current 'solution' to the squeal is like what plumbers do to stop water hammer in old plumbing systems. Meaning the hose acts like a dampener to allow hydraulic fluid to pass out of the transmission and into the rubber hose. This dampens the fluids need to expand quickly with nowhere to go prior to the hose being introduced in place of the 'original style' 'U' shaped metal pipe which came on all our DK-40's. This is just my THEORY, again NOT fact, except for the hose only being attached to the transmission.

Makes sense CM, as stated in a previous post, aircraft hyd systems sometimes employ an expansion / dampening / surge protection system to protect system components.

Hope it works out for you.

Thanks, Mike
For me and any others who experience this issue.:)

Can you get a picture, I just trying to understand how Kioti connected it up? I'm wondering what port Kioti connected it too. I thought that hose looked like it was capped at one end.

The pics I already posted show the hose exactly as it attaches to the tractor. The end with the right angle fitting is bolted into the transmission case on the left side of the tractor. The capped, (plugged end) is held in place alongside the transmission housing by a large cable tie. This same capped end is left to dangle toward the rear of the tractor. (I will probably tie a short length of string to it and secure it to something near the rear differential to keep it from moving around more than necessary). That's all there is to the install. Where the old U -shaped metal pipe had connected to the top of the filter housing is now plugged with the original banjo bolt.
No significant amount of hydraulic fluid is lost during the install.

I now have about 20 NOISE FREE hours on the machine, since the install, not a single peep of 'squeal' at all. I am continuing to lift and move huge loads of mud/ stone, etc. from my roadside ditch and other locations on my property, all of which puts the tractor thoroughly through its paces at maximum capacity re: load and lifting.

Coyote, I reviewed your postings but don't see a picture of the transmission where the hose attaches. I only see pictures of the parts.

Coyote,
I missed the new banjo bolt design. Is this how kioti configured it, please see the attached diagram. If this is the configuration what the hose size and length? The size and length is critical for the attenuator to work correctly.
