DK40SE Squeal When Moving in Reverse.

I have a 2012 DK50SEHST Cab that I got a few weeks ago. I have 36 hours on it and it has been squealing since hour three. I figured this problem would have been fixed since this thread has been out here since 2010 and no more additions since may of this year. Good thing I have an awesome dealer! going to the shop this week.

The FIX is a one on one deal where the tractor squeals, you bring it to the attention of your dealer, they get the parts and install them and you're all set under warranty.
I'm not aware of Kioti implementing it as a production/design change, but there is always a remote possibility I could be wrong

Funny, my 2012 DK45SEHST Cab doesn't make a sound in reverse. It is very strange some machines have the issue and some don't. I just past 41 hours.

There are quite a few variables. Mine makes a bit more noise in Low than medium, RPMs and the amount of load in the FEL will also make a difference.

Well, maybe I haven't hit that magic combo yet, but I've so far escaped the squeal. I'm usually in the 2100-2300 rpm range in mid range, but I certainly have been higher or lower in both low and high ranges without issue.

The considerable majority of DK HST owners have never had squeal issues. I'm sure it is an annoyance, concern and bother but for whatever reason only a small percentage of the tractors exhibit that problem.

Originally mine didn't make a sound until I was on it for about an hour, then only in reverse. Now it only takes 15 minutes for it to start. I've been doing allot of forward and reverse cleaning up brush with the grapple. Mainly mid range, two wheel drive, 2000 rpm's. Now it's squealing after I stop until I hit the forward peddle. Once it started doing that I took a video and sent it to my dealer. I'm not worried, like I said earlier, I have total confidence in my dealer, the day he delivered it the three point quit working and he had if fixed the next day.

That's how the squeal developed on my DK35 HST. It developed the squeal sometime after 50 hrs and I fixed it around 300 hrs or so (when Coyote Machine posted the solution). My dealer gave me the kit within a week and it was easy to install. No oil needs to be drained, but I did run the left wheels on 6" blocks just to be sure.

I'm now at 375 hrs. The squeal has never returned.

got my tractor back from the dealer a couple day's ago. Used it for three hours and the squeal is gone!

Nice! This is one fix that seems to always stop the squeal. My tractor stopped immediately upon adding the fix parts.
